DreamCatcher International Holding Ltd., based in Belize (hereinafter referred to as "us," "we," or "our") (the "Service") is authorized to operate the website and mobile product applications (the "Service"). This means that when you access our website or purchase and use our products, your personal information will be collected, stored, and used by us. This page informs you of our privacy practices regarding your personal information and your rights. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy will be effective when posted on this page.
What we collect about you

The information required and collected during device setup includes your email address, password, etc. You can also optionally provide a profile picture and account name. What app permissions do we need?
- Location permission (Android, iOS version)
To obtain connected Wi-Fi information when setting up devices, the device's location information is required. This is used to provide functionality, retrieve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth lists when the device is connected to the internet, and detect nearby devices.
- Get the current Wi-Fi connection status and Wi-Fi hotspot information (Android, iOS version)
This information is required when the device is connected to the Internet and is used to connect to the Wi-Fi broadcast by the device for device-to-device Internet communication.
- Floating window permission (Android, iOS version)
If users want to receive notifications from the app, they must obtain the floating window permission, which is used to receive alarm notifications from the brand's security monitors, cameras, smart sensors, and other devices tied to the app.
- Camera permission (Android, iOS version)
During registration, the application requires access to the phone's camera so that the user can take pictures or select images as their account avatar.
For products with video functionality, additional permissions would be required:
- Album permission (Android, iOS version)
When purchasing video surveillance equipment, access to the phone's album is required to save recorded videos or images from manual recordings to the local album, view or delete photos taken in the application, and view recorded videos.
- Permission to read phone contacts (Android version)
If you purchase video surveillance equipment and share videos, this permission is required to share manually recorded videos with other applications.
- Recording permission (Android, iOS version)
When the user binds the brand's cameras, video doorbells, and other devices within the application, access to the phone's microphone is required for features such as video intercom and voice commands.
For products with security functions, additional authorizations would be required:
- Global popup dialog permission (Android version):
If the user binds the brand's security monitoring devices within the application, this permission is required for the application to display a full-screen red pop-up window after the security hub.
What we do with the information we collect
We use your personal information to fulfill the agreement between us so that you can use the Service:
- We need your data to contact you, send you the ordered device
or to help you with any problems.
- During device setup, the Chuango product will ask for your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password to connect to the internet. This information, along with your IP address, is stored on the device so you can access and control it from your mobile devices, communicate with Chuango servers, and download software/firmware updates.
- Some Chuango alarm devices are designed to ensure you don't miss important device-related notifications. Enabling this feature allows you to provide us with your phone number. However, we only store your phone number on the device. You'll be automatically notified when the device status is abnormal.
- Your account allows you to provide certain basic profile information, such as your nickname and profile photo. You should only use photos that you want to share with other Chuango users .
- We collect data from several sensors integrated into the Chuango device or linked to the alarm panel. Motion detectors, for example, can detect movement. For security purposes, these devices can detect if something is unusual and then notify the panel, causing it to sound a siren and/or send you a notification.
- To improve your experience over time and help troubleshoot any issues you may have with Chuango products, we record your device model and serial number, software version, and technical information such as sensor status, Wi-Fi connectivity, error logs, battery status, and whether product features are working properly.
- If you enable the streaming features of your Chuango camera products, we may record and process video and/or audio recordings from the device, depending on your configuration and settings. We may process information from your camera so we can send you notifications when something happens. If you have enabled the recording feature, we will also collect, process, and store video and audio data recordings from your device for the duration of your subscription period (e.g., 3 or 30 days, depending on the cloud storage package you choose), and you may access these recordings through the Service during that time.
- You can save and share certain content, such as screenshots and video clips, with others. We collect and store information that allows us to save or share your content as you specify.
- Cloud storage subscriptions are available for some devices. You can purchase such services through PayPal. We do not store your payment information, only your purchased subscription and the name of your PayPal account.
- We may also collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Service or access the Service by or through a mobile device ("Usage Data"). This Usage Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, other device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
If you access the Service by or through a mobile device, this Usage Data may include information such as the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, your mobile device IP address, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
- To send you news, special offers and general information about other goods, services and events we offer that are similar to those you have already purchased or enquired about, unless you have opted not to receive such information.
- To detect, prevent and resolve technical problems.

- Chuango also retains usage data for internal analytics purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, unless this data is needed to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of our Service, or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer periods.
We need to use your data if it is in our legitimate interest to do so:
- We may send you emails with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials, and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving some or all of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send. Additionally, you may invite friends or family members to share access to your device. We will ask for their email addresses and automatically send email invitations.
- We may notify you about changes to our Service, allow you to participate in interactive features of our Service when you choose to do so, gather analytics or valuable information to help us improve our Service and detect, prevent, and address technical issues. In this context, we may also monitor the use of our Service.
- We may also need your information if we need to protect you or ourselves.
Receiving from third parties and processors
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service ("Service Providers"), to provide the Service on our behalf, to perform Service-related services, or to assist us in analyzing how our Service is used. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. We may offer paid products and/or services through the Service. In such cases, we may use third-party services (e.g., payment processors) to process payments.
We will not store or collect your payment card information. This information is shared directly with our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their privacy policies. These payment processors adhere to the standards established by PCI-DSS, which is managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment information. We use a payment processor called PayPal or Mollie.
Some of our products use third-party voice assistance services such as Amazon® Alexa or Google® Assistant. These services collect audio (voice) data to support the operation and control of enabled products. The data these services collect to support the operation of our products is subject to the privacy policies of those services. Please read and consider these privacy policies before selecting or using these services.
Your personal data will be stored in Europe or East Asia, depending on where your Chuango devices were activated. Because Chuango is part of a larger group, it is possible that, under certain circumstances, other companies within our subsidiaries may have access to your data. We take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Our website contains social media buttons or links to other interesting websites, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Pinterest, and Twitter. When you use this button or click on this link, the privacy policy of the respective party applies. We assume no responsibility for the use of social media buttons or links to other websites. We will not sell your personal information to third parties and, other than as stated above, we will not transfer or rent your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
Children's privacy
Our Service is not directed to persons under the age of 13 (“Children”).
We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

We will not retain your personal data for longer than we consider necessary for the purposes set out above. This depends on the following:
- You can delete your account at any time
- Your data will be deleted after the retention period specified in your purchased cloud plan. This period can vary from 3 hours to 30 days, or indefinitely if you bookmark the data.
- Please note that we will retain your information for two years if we receive it via a web form
- Your data may be used for statistical purposes over a longer period of time, but this information will also be anonymized.
Your data protection rights
You can change, add, or delete your Chuango account at any time. You also have the right to request this at any time.
- Access and rectification or erasure of your personal data;
- Restriction of processing or objection to processing in general;
- Data portability
- A revocation of your consent, which we will comply with at any time
- Delete your account. See the "Account Deletion Notice" for more information.
We are committed to processing your request within four weeks of receipt. If we are unable to meet this deadline, we will inform you accordingly. Please understand that we will do our best to fulfill your wishes. However, sometimes this is not possible. In this case, we will need to consider whether your individual interests override our rights and obligations, but we will always provide you with solid motivation. Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before responding to such requests.
